Our latest season of Tai Chi classes are underway and I look forward to a new Chicago Beginner’s class soon.
Thinking about joining a Tai Chi class for improving balance, stability and decreasing stress? That’s a start and one that needs action. Make time in your schedule for your health and get out the door to a classroom, even when it seems inconvenient. Showing up is important. You need to show up.
On a personal note, “showing up” started to transform my life. When facing major physical challenges filled with uncertainty about whether I I could walk down the street and into a classroom, I did it anyway. Sometimes we need to show up, despite our fears, anxiety and uncertainty.
You can read more about my story, how Tai Chi provided a pathway to health in my memoir Walking on Pins and Needles: A Memoir of Chronic Resilience in the Face of Multiple Sclerosis. It might be the nudge you need to make a commitment to a class and show up.
